Accounting Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing month-end close processes, general ledger functions, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.

- Coordinate and support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.

- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

- Handle intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and reporting.

- Assist with treasury accounting operations to support cash flow management.

- Create and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and workflows.

- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate detailed reports.

Requirements - Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and financial reporting.

- Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and reconciliation procedures.

- Familiarity with preparing financial statements and supporting audits.

- Expertise in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.

- Proficiency in creating and posting journal entries accurately.

- Understanding of intercompany accounting principles and practices.

- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
