LAZ Parking is a leading parking company operating across the United States. The Client Reporting Services (CRS) team provides monthly financial reporting for over 1,600 locations and 1,000 clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Cash Basis accounting.
Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of monthly accounting and reporting for an assigned region.
- Manage a small team of accountants and serve as the sole “resident expert” on all locations within the region.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting by supervising assigned accountants’ workload.
- Act as the main point of contact for external clients and internal field personnel related to client reporting.
- Oversee new locations, terminated locations, and ownership changes.
- Direct initial reporting requirements for new locations.
- Collaborate with the tax team to complete all tax filings and payments on time.
- Review team financial reports, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Participate in regional P&L calls and provide insights for all managed locations within the region.
- Maintain monthly check‑in meetings with the team.
- Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to regional and departmental process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5+ years of general accounting or finance experience with GAAP application.
- Experience supervising staff is preferred.
- Commercial property management accounting and client financial reporting experience is a plus.
- Ability to train and supervise staff.
- Strong, effective, and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook).
- Analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commercial orientation and ability to handle deadlines and changes with composure.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
