Role

We have an opportunity for a Shipping and Dispatch Coordinator to join our team in London, working with Aman Essentials. This role will report to the Global Retail Operations Director. The Shipping and Dispatch Coordinator is the primary point of contact for all retail shipment matters from Aman Essentials to Aman resorts worldwide. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth, cost-effective, and timely dispatch of goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the smooth dispatch of goods to Aman resort properties globally.
  • Oversee transportation, delivery schedules, and load planning for all outgoing shipments.
  • Partner with property purchasing and logistics teams to identify the most cost-effective and reliable shipping solutions.
  • Liaise with international carriers and freight forwarders to manage shipments efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Aman Essentials team to ensure goods are delivered on time and in pristine condition.
  • Prepare and compare quotations from multiple shipping providers to achieve cost savings for properties.
  • Track all shipments daily and provide regular delivery status updates to Aman stakeholders.
  • Monitor e-commerce orders by liaising with 3PL partners, Operations, and E-commerce teams to ensure all orders are fulfilled and tracked accurately.
Requirements
  • 2–3 years of management or supervisory experience in logistics, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to motivate, train, and support team members.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid technical and IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
