Mobile Electrical Engineer

Position: Mobile Electrical Engineer (Permanent)
Job Title – Mobile Engineer (Electrical)

My client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities management and they are recruiting for a Mobile Engineer to cover several established contracts around Northwest London / Watford area.

As a Mobile Technician, they will perform repairs and tend & maintain several buildings, commercial systems, equipment, and building services. They would be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems

Responsibilities

* Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.

* Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

* Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.

* Manage and track completion.

* Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

* Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

* Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

Person Specification / Education

* Recognised or time-served apprenticeship

* Strong background in commercial maintenance

* Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2-3, 18th Edition or equivalent)

* Experience with 3-phase motors, drives, inverters

* Experience working in FM/Building Services

* Experience working in a similar role
