SASE Presales Systems Engineer –
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (London, UK)
Onsite role with primary work location at an HPE office.

Assist customers in shaping secure, cutting‑edge solutions within HPE’s cybersecurity portfolio, including SASE and SSE architectures.

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architecture workshops.
• Deliver impactful demos and proof‑of‑concepts for SASE (SD‑WAN, ZTNA, SWG, CASB, FWaaS) and SSE use cases.
• Guide customers through observability and threat detection integrations (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, Open Telemetry).
• Engage CISOs, security architects, and compliance stakeholders in strategic discussions.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with high‑quality technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to provide roadmap feedback.
• Present confidently to both technical and executive audiences.
• Work cross‑functionally to ensure successful deal outcomes.
• Maintain flexibility to accommodate customer schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends.

• 5+ years in technical pre‑sales or solution engineering (cybersecurity, networking, or cloud).
• Hands‑on experience with SASE/SSE architecture and Zero Trust models.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies (Firewalls, IPSEC, SSL‑VPN, NAT, GRE, IPS/IDS).
• Familiarity with identity and access standards (SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC).
• Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with CLI on major routing/switching platforms and WAN edge technologies.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Strong presentation skills and ability to simplify complex technical topics.

• Certifications:
  
  CCNP, CISSP, AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Open Telemetry and advanced observability tools.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
