Key Responsibilities

Shaping and optimizing the pricing strategy for Neat’s hardware and SaaS offering. This position blends commercial acumen, data‑driven analysis, and strategic thinking to ensure Neat’s products are competitively priced, profitable, and aligned with our business objectives. The position is ideal for candidates who thrive in cross‑functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Finance teams.

Pricing Strategy & Governance
  • Develop and implement end‑to‑end pricing strategies for Neat’s hardware portfolio and SaaS offering across global markets, channels, and customer segments.
  • Balance competitiveness, profitability, and customer value through effective pricing models (e.g., cost‑plus, value‑based, or competitive benchmarking).
  • Maintain and communicate pricing policies, discount structures, and approval frameworks.
  • Partner with Product leadership to optimise pricing at key lifecycle moments: launch premium models, mid‑life refreshes, and end‑of‑life transitions for older hardware.
  • Drive strategic pricing discussions with product, finance, and commercial leadership to align with long‑term business objectives.
Product & Market Analysis
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor pricing analysis for the video‑device category to inform product positioning and pricing decisions.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Finance to model product margins, cost of goods sold (COGS), and profitability by SKU or product line.
  • Support business case development for new product launches and lifecycle pricing adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain profitability by SKU/product‑line dashboards, identifying low‑margin SKUs, cannibalisation risk, bundling opportunities, and recommending pricing adjustments or phase‑outs.
  • Lead competitive pricing analysis using market data, win/loss insights, and customer feedback to maintain market relevance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in product portfolio performance, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Commercial Enablement
  • Work closely with regional Sales and Channel teams to support pricing proposals and large‑deal negotiations.
  • Coordinate promotional pricing, rebates, and bundle offers to drive adoption and market share.
  • Provide pricing insights and recommendations throughout the product lifecycle (launch, midlife, end‑of‑life).
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and analyze key pricing and profitability KPIs.
  • Produce dashboards and reports for leadership on pricing performance, elasticity, and margin trends.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing accuracy, agility, and efficiency through tools and automation.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Finance, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Ensure alignment of pricing strategies with corporate financial objectives and product positioning.
  • Act as the subject‑matter expert for hardware pricing across the organization.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Masters preferred).
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic pricing—ideally with exposure to hardware, technology, or manufacturing sectors.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and pricing tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) a plus.
  • Understanding of hardware cost structures an advantage.
