A well-established building services consultancy is looking to appoint an  Electrical Design Engineer as part of continued growth within their design team.

This is a solid opportunity for an engineer with consultancy experience who wants greater technical responsibility, exposure to varied projects, and a clear development pathway.

🔹 The Role

Electrical building services design across a range of project types

Surveys, testing, and reporting on existing installations

Electrical calculations using Amtech, Pro-Design, or equivalent

Preparation of tender specifications, drawings, and technical documentation

Attendance at design and coordination meetings

Technical oversight and support of graduates and trainees

🔹 The Candidate

Experience with in a UK building services consultancy (c.3+ years ideal)

Good working knowledge of British Standards

Confident producing designs, specifications, and calculations

Able to manage workload and meet deadlines

Actively working toward professional development / chartership

🔹 Qualifications (preferred)

Degree in Electrical or Environmental Engineering or

HNC / ONC / BTEC in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)

Permanent, full-time position
