We do this by enabling more young people from all backgrounds to be informed, inspired and progress into engineering and technology.

We work with over 450 businesses, Professional Engineering Institutions (PEIs) and providers of education and outreach, gaining and sharing insight through research and evaluation, leading a collective effort to improve the impact of activities for schools, and advocating to improve the related policy environment. Engineering

UK was created alongside the Engineering Council in 2001 and we work with complementary missions alongside each other.

  • We are collaborative. We listen, share and work in partnership to achieve our vision.
  • We are curious and keen to learn. We challenge ourselves and others to innovate and experiment.
  • We are insightful. We evaluate what we do and draw on research to make decisions and to improve our collective understanding.
  • We are driven by a strong sense of purpose. We are determined to make an impact and achieve our goals.
