The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work 1:1 with pupils with SEN, supporting their individual learning needs
* Support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing, confidence, and engagement
* Work closely alongside the class teacher to support learning and behaviour
* Assist with implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs
* Carry out observations and record pupil progress to support assessments
* Encourage positive behaviour and independence
* Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment
About You
* Experience working with children, within a UK primary school or other settings
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN
* Patient, caring, and emotionally resilient
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Committed, reliable, and proactive
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
