Salary: £24,474- £31,610 depending on experience
The RoleAs a Science Technician, you will be the backbone of the science department, ensuring that practical lessons are delivered safely, efficiently, and engagingly. This school boasts modern, well-equipped laboratories and a supportive team of educators who value the expertise of their technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing equipment and chemical solutions for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level practicals.
- Maintaining laboratory apparatus and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Assisting teaching staff with live demonstrations and technical support during lessons.
- Managing stock levels and ordering supplies.
- Upholding rigorous Health & Safety standards (COSHH).

Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with a strong laboratory background from industry or university.
Education: A degree or strong qualification in Chemistry, Biology, or Physics.

Flexibility: We are open to candidates seeking either a full-time or a part-time (3–4 days per week) permanent contract.
