Salary: £24,474- £31,610 depending on experience

As a Science Technician, you will be the backbone of the science department, ensuring that practical lessons are delivered safely, efficiently, and engagingly. This school boasts modern, well-equipped laboratories and a supportive team of educators who value the expertise of their technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing equipment and chemical solutions for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level practicals.
• Maintaining laboratory apparatus and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Assisting teaching staff with live demonstrations and technical support during lessons.
• Managing stock levels and ordering supplies.
• Upholding rigorous Health & Safety standards (COSHH).

• Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with a strong laboratory background from industry or university.

• Education: A degree or strong qualification in Chemistry, Biology, or Physics.

• Flexibility: We are open to candidates seeking either a full-time or a part-time (3–4 days per week) permanent contract.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
