Monday to Friday, Term‑Time Only

You will support pupils with a wide range of learning, communication, sensory and physical needs. You’ll help students access learning, build independence and develop confidence, working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff. Responsibilities include 1:1 work, small groups, classroom assistance and participation in academic and therapeutic activities.
Preferred Experience- Supporting pupils with learning difficulties or developmental delays
- Working with children or young people with communication or social interaction needs
- Supporting pupils with sensory or physical needs
- Managing emotional regulation or challenging behaviour
- Using alternative communication methods or visual aids
- Assisting with personal care or daily routines where needed
- Relevant SEND experience is essential
- Patient, nurturing and resilient approach
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prepared to provide an up‑to‑date DBS and comply with other mandatory checks per DfE guidelines

Applicants for this role must attend a face‑to‑face interview to demonstrate suitability. If the position involves working with children or vulnerable adults, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
