We’re looking for an experienced Trading Manager to join a fast-moving, national food retail environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong food retail experience to drive category growth, maximise profitability, and influence supplier relationships at a national level.

• Proven experience in a Trading role (must have UK Experience)
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering commercial benefit.
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and leading projects across teams.
• Confident user of Excel and other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good level of education in English and Maths; degree or equivalent in Business/Administration is a plus.

• Own your category: develop, implement, and review plans that optimise cost, terms, and profitability.
• Lead national negotiations with suppliers and RDCs to secure the best deals.
• Forecast, manage budgets, and deliver measurable commercial results.
• Deliver compelling promotion plans aligned to seasonal and strategic objectives.
• Build strong supplier relationships, manage availability, and resolve complex issues.
• Support and develop junior team members, contributing to a high-performing trading function.

This is a hybrid role based in Harrow, London, with occasional travel to RDCs and suppliers. You’ll join a team that values collaboration, ambition, and delivering results
