Responsibilities
- Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, and the community at large
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
- Commit to the education of veterinary professionals
- Perform a variety of duties after training and rehearsal to accurately and consistently portray specific types of animal owners for cases and/or scenarios
- Simulate all aspects of the scenario, including history of current problem, effect/behavior (personality, emotions), in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner
- Demonstrate interviewing skills with veterinary students
- Prepare and study for the role of the patient for each case/scenario
- Demonstrate flexibility and reliability with schedules and assignments
- Work in a professional manner when interacting with learners, faculty, staff, and peers
- Accurately and consistently complete checklists and/or evaluations of veterinary student performance
- Accept ongoing feedback from supervisor/trainer and incorporate into case simulation
- Maintain objectivity and confidentiality
- Complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs
- Maintain proper security for all University files and information and follow privacy procedures at all times
- Maintain records and procedures for duties and responsibilities of position
- Perform other duties as assigned
