Catering Assistant

Overview

An opportunity has arisen in our kitchen team and we are looking for a Catering Assistant to join us at Bettys Cafe Tearooms in Harrogate. This is a full-time role and you will be responsible for preparing delicious food and drinks as part of a deliciously magical experience for every customer.

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours over 5 days. We have a variety of shift patterns with start and finish times staggered throughout the day, dependent on the branch opening hours. Shifts may include early mornings or evening shifts up to 11pm. We do not ask anyone to work split shifts. You will be required to work at least one day at the weekend every week.

Prepare food and drinks to deliver high-quality dishes and customer experiences.

• You will have a keen interest in cooking and be passionate about producing the best quality dishes.
• You will have good communication skills and the ability to work well with others as we rely on a strong team ethic to deliver the highest levels of quality and customer service.
• Experience of working in a busy kitchen and knowledge of food safety and health and safety is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
