Bar and Restaurant Manager – Hotel Du Vin, Harrogate (Malmaison)

Role Overview

£33.5k basic + TRONC, 45 hours per week – Permanent Contract. Requires full‑time commitment across a 7‑day week. Staff will deliver front‑of‑house service during evenings and weekends with flexible shift patterns discussed at interview.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth running of the Bar, Bistro and Meetings Operation.
  • Hands‑on operator coaching and support of the team to meet highest standards.
  • Achieve budgeted targets and KPIs.
  • Oversee branded restaurant operation, ensuring consistency with Hotel Du Vin brand.
  • Manage shift rosters, staff scheduling and contractual hours.
Qualifications
  • Experience leading a branded restaurant or bar operation.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and KPIs.
  • Excellent coaching, teamwork and communication skills.
