Tax Manager

An established and well-regarded independent accountancy firm in Harrogate is seeking a Tax Manager to join its team following the planned retirement of a long-standing colleague. This is a hybrid working opportunity. It will suit an experienced personal tax specialist or someone from a mixed tax background looking to concentrate more heavily on personal tax compliance within a stable and supportive firm.

The Role Management of a portfolio of personal tax clients, overseeing the preparation and review of personal tax returns Responsibility for compliance work across a broad range of individuals, including HNWIs and more complex cases Work on more technical areas, including non-resident trusts and share schemes Acting as a point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and providing clear, practical advice Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members where appropriate Candidate Profile ATT, CTA qualified or qualified by experience Strong background in tax compliance Comfortable managing a client portfolio and handling compliance work independently Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach If you are interested in this Tax Manager opportunity or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Warwick at IPS Finance.
