Client Support / IFA Administrator

Financial Planning | Client Support | Administration

An established and growing independent financial planning firm is looking to recruit a Client Support / IFA Administrator to support its advisers and deliver an outstanding service to private clients.

This is a varied, client‑facing role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with advisers, providers and clients, and who takes pride in delivering a high‑quality, compliant administration service.

The role

You will act as a key link between advisers, clients and providers, supporting the full advice process and ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.

Key responsibilities

Liaising directly with clients and third parties via phone, email and post
Managing advisers' diaries, arranging review meetings and issuing pre‑meeting information
Obtaining accurate policy and valuation information from product providers
Maintaining internal systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of client data
Keeping client files fully compliant with FCA requirements and internal processes
Supporting new business processing and preparing quotations where required
Executing trades as instructed by advisers
General client care, including welcoming clients to the office
Contributing ideas to improve administration processes and enhance the client experience

Skills and experience required

Previous experience in an IFA / financial planning administration or client support role
Confidence dealing with private clients (including high‑net‑worth individuals) and financial institutions
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to build positive working relationships with advisers, clients and providers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working under pressure in a regulated environment
Experience drafting client and provider correspondence under adviser supervision
