Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant

Justteachers are seeking a caring and inclusive teaching assistant to join a primary school in Harrogate. The role is for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant providing tailored support to a pupil with additional learning needs. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children, helping them to access the curriculum, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with specific learning or behavioural needs Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans Encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities Monitor and report on the pupils progress and wellbeing Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO Support the pupil during transitions, break times, and school activities Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Qualifications &

Experience:
