Skilled Labourer

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable Labourer to join our growing local team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of on-site duties associated with roofing and construction projects.

This role requires a strong understanding of roofing, safety procedures, and the ability to work  position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction and related trades to develop their skills further within a professional environment.

Must have own transport and live within 12 miles of Harrogate

• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as roofing panels, insulation, and other supplies
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
• Maintain a clean and organised worksite throughout the project duration

• Proven construction experience in roofing or related construction trades (min 1 year)
• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights for extended periods
• Basic carpentry skills; masonry or plumbing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Relevant health and safety certifications are preferred but not mandatory
• Own vehicle
