We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Harrogate to recruit a proactive and client-focused Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, close-knit team where youll be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting and tax services to a varied client portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse range of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies). Production of corporation tax and personal tax returns. Managing and maintaining client relationships, acting as a first point of contact for queries. Supporting clients with cloud accounting queries (primarily Xero). Working collaboratively within a small, supportive team environment. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and practice procedures.

Contributing to workflow improvements and supporting the ongoing growth of the practice. Essential Requirements:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment. Strong working knowledge of Xero.
