Staffing - Drafting​/CAD Technician

My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Drafting/CAD Technician I for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Harrodsburg, KY. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay: $20-22hr to Start!!
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Onsite!)
• 10-month assignment, possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• The position will mainly be responsible for maintaining and executing the documented drafting policies and procedures and storing, creating, & modifying AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar files.
• The position will also manage drawing requests, checked-out drawings, etc. following IA policy and provide training and support for drafting systems.
• The position will also be a meridian drawing vault administrator and maintain drafting room organization and management.
• The position will verify and modify as-built drawings through field inspections and covert Solid Works models to 2D drawings.
• The position will also engage HaKY and Division Engineering teams for cohesive drawing management

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required!
• 1+ years of Drafting/CAD experience Required!
• Certified Drafting Technician or equivalent Required!
• Proficiency is AutoCAD Required!
• Ability to field/verify drawings, specifically facility related Required!
• Drawing management experience Preferred!
• Meridian of similar vault experience Preferred!
• SharePoint experience Preferred!
• 3D printing experience Preferred!
• Proficiency in Solid Works Preferred!
• AutoCAD Electrical experience Preferred!
