Apply to work as a General Manager at McDonald's. This position is located at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and is not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters.

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.

To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers that have specific responsibilities in the restaurant. The GM helps the Department Managers set their own goals, follows up on progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve their Departments. By improving the Departments, the restaurant improves.

The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate‑owned and operated restaurant.
