General InformationThe Sport and Recreation Leadership master’s degree program invites applications for a 20 hour/week graduate assistantship working with Tony Britt Spotter Charts, LLC for academic year .
Graduate assistantships include enrollment in the Sport and Recreation graduate program (Sport & Recreation concentration, preferred) and involve 20 hours of work per week at Tony Britt Spotter Charts, LLC during the academic school year. The position begins August 10, 2026 and continues through May 13, 2027. The position includes a stipend and a tuition waiver.
Duties and Responsibilities- Chart Delivery – Email finished charts to print shops, confirm pick‑up times, communicate with clients, and update client profiles.
- Data Entry and Verification – Update player bios, weekly depth charts for relevant teams, and assist with final proofing of other data specialists’ work.
- Chart Production and File Management – Enter chart specifications, format auto‑generated charts on the company website, export finished charts using Adobe Pro, and save as PDF.
- Must be accepted into the Sport and Recreation Leadership graduate program (Sport & Recreation concentration, preferred) at James Madison University.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Passion for sports, attention to detail, and spreadsheet skills useful.

Conditions of Employment- Conditional or unconditional acceptance into a graduate program is required.
- Official transcript indicating completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution required.
- Maintain at least a 3.0 graduate GPA to retain or reapply for the assistantship.
