Job Title:
Underground Utility Foreman

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Underground Utility Foreman to lead field crews on site development projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations related to storm, water, and sanitary sewer installation while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead underground utility crews installing storm, water, and sewer piping
• Coordinate daily work activities, crew assignments, and production goals
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and utility layouts
• Ensure work is performed safely and complies with company and site safety standards
• Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Monitor quality, productivity, and schedule adherence
• Assist with material planning and equipment needs
• Maintain accurate daily reports and as-built information

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience leading crews on underground utility/site development projects
• Hands-on experience with storm drainage, water, and sanitary sewer systems
• Strong knowledge of trenching, pipe installation, bedding, and backfill procedures
• Ability to read blueprints and utility plans
• Proven leadership and communication skills
