The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct, hands-on care to residents in a senior living care setting under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role supports residents with activities of daily living, promotes comfort and dignity, observes and reports changes in condition, and contributes to a safe, compassionate, and person-centered care environment. The CNA plays a vital role in enhancing residents’ quality of life through respectful care, teamwork, and consistent communication.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include delivering direct resident care, supporting daily living activities, monitoring resident conditions, and collaborating with licensed nursing staff to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Maintain professional conduct, communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members, and comply with care standards and policies.
Position DetailsPay
: $16.50 - $21.70 per hour
Work Schedule
:
Day shift, 6 AM - 2 PM
Week Scheduling
:
Week 1 – Sun | Thurs | Fri | Sat;
Week 2 – Sun | Thurs | Fri | Sat
- $2/hour evening & night shift differential (2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am all days)
- $2/hour weekend shift differential (6 am Saturday to 6 am Monday)

Qualifications- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with a current license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Current CPR certification.
- Organized with the ability to maintain accuracy, possess computer experience, and a willingness to learn new software.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments using the English language.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with nursing assistants and nursing administration to ensure established standards of care are met.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service using a friendly, outgoing, and customer-first approach.
- A pleasant personality with the ability to work closely with staff, residents, and family members in a calm, cooperative, respectful, and professional manner.
- Proven ability to always maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to perform the duties listed in the job description with autonomy.
- Must be flexible and accommodate changing priorities.
- Must meet the physical demands of the job as described in the job description.
- Must meet all pre-hire screening requirements for employment.
