Registered Nurse - Medical​/Surgery

We are currently seeking customer service focused registered nurses to join our Sentara Healthcare team. We are offering sign on bonuses up to $20K. We are seeking to place candidates in the following units:

36 bed Medical/Surgical Unit. Patient to Nurse ratio is 6:1. Patient population includes stroke/AMS/TIA/Dialysis and a mixture of other med/surg disease processes. Exceptional customer service must be delivered to all patients and families.

36 bed Medical/Surgical Unit. Patient to Nurse ratio is 1:1. Patient population includes pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, numbness, and problems with sleep. Assists families with medical decisions by providing better understanding of the medical condition and choices for medical care. Seeking strong customer service and great work ethic.

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for our 36 bed Medical/Surgical Unit. We provide post-surgical-care to a variety of surgical patients including those undergoing urological, gynecological, vascular, general, and orthopedic surgery. We also deliver evidence based practice to Medical patients ranging from young adult to geriatrics. Our unit culture of safety and teamwork is founded by our dedicated staff, who, together provide quality patient centered care.

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for our 36 bed Medical/Oncology Unit. We specialize in compassionate End of Life care to patients and their families. We also deliver evidence based practice to Medical patients ranging from young adult to geriatrics. Our unit culture of safety and teamwork is founded by our dedicated staff, who, together provide quality patient centered care.

24 bed unit that cares for total joint, spine, medical/surgical patients as well as observation patients.
