Overview
This is a part-time, on-site Employment Specialist role located in Harrisonburg, VA. The Employment Specialist will support individuals seeking meaningful employment by assessing job readiness, coordinating job placements, and providing guidance on skills and career development. Key responsibilities include conducting job interviews, engaging with employers to identify opportunities, delivering workshops or training sessions, and offering ongoing support to clients to ensure job retention.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service
- Ability to conduct effective Interviewing and Recruiting processes
- Experience in Training and mentoring individuals
- Proficiency in creating a supportive environment for client success
- Passion for helping individuals achieve their employment goals
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required);
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
