Job Description:
Benefits include Annual educational stipend for the counselor to use towards for licensure fees, CEUs, etc. $250 PT/ $500 FT and matching retirement 3% PT/ 6% FT;
For someone seeking licensure, we have the supervision compensation policy.
Qualifications:
Requirements and Qualifications
:
- Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy. Will consider a Master’s in social work for strong candidates.
- V A LMFT/LPC license or V A license of residency
- Training or experience in one or more treatment modalities
- Clinical experience (at least one year of post‑licensure experience preferred) if fully licensed
- Resident in Counseling considered, if strong candidate
- Shared values of Journey Counseling Ministries
- EXCELLENT soft skills: customer service skills both in and out of the counseling chair, problem solving skills, communication skills (both oral and written), strong team/others approach
