This position has executive-level responsibility and strategic oversight of the credit union’s financial health,compliance,and controls.
Provides oversighttogeneral ledger, financial accounting and reporting, investments and liquidity, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, modeling, asset/liability management, enterprise risk management, auditing, and compliance.
Additionally,maylead other key departments that directlyimpactthe financial health of the credit union. Works closely with the CEO to ensure strategic growth and tomaintaina financially sound and stable credit union.
Communicates the credit union’s financial position to a variety of audiences, including the Board of Directors, our membership, community stakeholders, regulators,and employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in a financial institution or related environment.
- Proven experience leading a team.
- Proficiency in financial and managerial reporting,budgeting,and presenting financial information to a variety of audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of asset/liability management, risk management, and compliance.
- Knowledge and experience in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and NCUA regulations.
- Ability to lead at the highest level of the credit union, which includes exceptional communication skills, diverse team leadership, strategicthinking,and sound decision-making.
- Dependable,accurate, detail-oriented, organized, service-oriented.
- Fully understands,demonstrates,and leads Park View’s mission, vision,purpose,and core values.
