General Information

The Student Employment Student Assistant will assist the Student Employment Team in day‑to‑day operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process Student Employment hiring paperwork.
  • File hiring paperwork in our electronic filing system, OnBase.
  • Assist with Student Employment events such as the annual Job Fair, Student Employment Appreciation Week, and Resource Fairs as schedule allows.
  • Create and assemble Student Employment flyers and brochures.
  • Process background checks.
  • Maintain social media platforms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Federal Work Study eligible.
  • Familiar with computer software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with Facebook and other social media platforms.
  • Willingness to learn the hiring processes.
  • Ability to work as a team member and individually.
Additional Posting Information

Conditions of Employment: Students must be degree‑seeking students, enrolled on at least a half‑time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
