Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Lead Dispatcher who can keep our technicians organized, our customers informed, and our operations running efficiently.

Position SummaryThe HVAC Lead Dispatcher manages the daily flow of service calls, coordinates preventative maintenance visits, and ensures all jobs are assigned and completed efficiently. You’ll serve as the central hub between customers, technicians, and management — making sure communication is clear, schedules are accurate, and nothing falls through the cracks.
This position requires strong computer skills, exceptional organization, and the ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Dispatch- Plan, assign, and adjust technician schedules for service, PMs, and repairs
- Monitor workloads and redistribute calls to maximize field efficiency
- Track job progress throughout the day and communicate updates to customers
- Coordinate with management on job priorities and technician availability
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers calling in for service
- Communicate clearly with technicians on job details, site requirements, and follow-ups
- Keep customers informed on ETA updates and job status
- Work closely with service management to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain accurate information in dispatching software (Build Ops)
- Help with work order notes, purchase orders, and closing out jobs
- Assist with time tracking, billing coordination, and parts or material requests
- 2+ years of scheduling or dispatch experience (HVAC, plumbing, or similar service industry preferred)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or dispatching platforms)
- Excellent communication with both customers and technicians
- Highly organized and detail-oriented — able to manage multiple priorities at once
- Calm under pressure, quick decision-maker, and problem solver
- Positive attitude -- team player with a strong work ethic
