Position: IT PROJECT MANAGER
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT PROJECT MANAGER for CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Sports/Entertainment clients in Purchase , New York

Role Overview
We are seeking a disciplined, mid-level IT Project Manager for a contract engagement to support the delivery of key digital initiatives. Reporting to the IT Program Manager, you will oversee the lifecycle of projects ranging from internal infrastructure upgrades to fan-facing digital applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who can navigate a corporate office environment and translate technical requirements into actionable project plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution:
  Lead the planning and implementation of assigned IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Facilitate in-person and virtual meetings between technical teams (Dev, Dev Ops, Security) and business stakeholders.
• Agile/Waterfall Hybrid:
  Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while maintaining traditional project documentation.
• Risk & Issue Tracking:
  Proactively identify "blockers " and manage project risks, escalating to the Program Manager when necessary.
• Status Reporting:
  Maintain accurate dashboards and provide weekly updates on project health, milestones, and resource allocation using standard tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:
  
  4-6 years of experience in IT Project Management.
• Technical Literacy:
  Solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), cloud environments, and API integrations.
• Tools:
  Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and project scheduling software (e.g., Smartsheet or ).
• Communication:
  Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical staff.
