Team GFC Members

NJ/NY Gotham FC ("Gotham FC" or "the Club") is a National Women’s Soccer League ("NWSL") team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at the Sports Illustrated Stadium (formerly Red Bull Arena) in Harrison, NJ.

Gotham FC is seeking enthusiastic, energetic “
Team GFC Members
” to be part of our gameday fan experience, event, and activation team. Team GFC Members report to the Senior Manager, Fan Experience and the wider Fan Experience team and will play an essential role in creating an incredible, unforgettable experience for fans at each home match. Team GFC Members bring Gotham FC’s energy to life by executing gameday activations, engaging fans, supporting partners, and delivering white-glove hospitality experiences for our VIPs.

• Ensure flawless, fun execution of your assigned duties with Gotham FC’s Fan Fest presented by Carmax, ranging from operating kids’ games, meet & greet navigation, activation line management, taking photos of fans, to supporting in-match entertainment.
• Act as brand ambassadors by speaking positively and knowledgeably about Gotham FC.
• For sponsored activations, learn and deliver scripted brand talking points on behalf of Gotham FC partners.
• Be well-versed in all gameday activities, schedules, and stadium activations, including stadium policies.
• Support full pre- and post-hospitality setup and breakdown (e.g., placing mirrors and pillows, hanging banners, building backdrops, displaying partner products).
• Deliver white-glove service for Gotham FC’s most important clients and guests, including but not limited to serving as Warm-Up Watcher escorts, guiding VIPs from hospitality spaces to the field level.
• Contribute to the onsite entertainment value of attending a Gotham FC match.
• Support our in-arena team with fan-generated chants, t-shirt tosses, contests, gate giveaways, and other game presentation elements, as needed.
• Support Fan Fest setups, including tables, chairs, and other event elements, as needed.
• Select team members may be asked to be part of specialty programming, such as group sales giveaways, and ticketing activations, and VIP experiences, as needed.
• Support and staff non-game day special activations, season ticket member events, street team initiatives as needed during and after the National Women’s Soccer League season, including set-up, breakdown, and staffing during the event.

• Be a fan-facing representative of Gotham FC and uphold the Gotham FC brand.
• Treat all fans with care and respect as an ambassador and host representing Gotham FC.
• Prior live event or brand ambassador experience is preferred.
• Soccer knowledge is not required, but a plus.
• Bilingual skills are not required, but a plus.

• Must be able to lift and carry boxes or items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of regular job duties.
• Flexible with the ability to multitask.
• Comfortable interacting with large numbers of new people.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach by anticipating needs, taking initiative, and addressing issues before they arise.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Personable, friendly, and enthusiastic.
• Treat all fans, guests, and partners with care, professionalism, and respect.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Team GFC Members must be available to work up to 12 of the 15 Gotham FC regular-season home matches throughout the season. Individual scheduling may vary based on matchday needs and operational requirements.
• Fan Fest is outdoors, 2 hours in length, and begins 2.5 hours prior to the match kickoff.
• Team GFC Members assigned to Fan Fest must arrive 2 hours prior to the start of Fan Fest for preparation and setup.
• Typical matchday shifts range from 5–8 hours, depending on role assignment and operational needs.
