Overview

Red Bull New York is one of 30 MLS teams. RBNY has competed in MLS since its founding in 1996 and plays home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey. The club is owned by Red Bull and offers a premier youth development program across New York and New Jersey through regional development schools and Red Bulls Academy teams.

The Stadium Events Sales Specialist drives 3rd party promoter and private event rentals to the Stadium through proactive sales efforts, relationship-building, and targeted outreach. This role supports the Head of Stadium Events in managing event bookings at Sports Illustrated Stadium and the Club’s Training Facility, ensuring smooth operations for internal and external 3rd party events, and driving event revenue for both tickets and non-ticketed events.

The specialist serves as the primary contact for 3rd party Promoters and oversees the full lifecycle of Special Events, spanning intimate private functions to large-scale concerts and sporting events. The position emphasizes business development, client relations, and flawless execution with internal departments and in-house partners to elevate guest experiences across all events.

This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of event logistics, contract negotiations, and relationship management with clients, vendors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Revenue Generation – Drive private event rentals through proactive sales, relationship-building, and outreach. Cultivate relationships with third-party promoters and event producers to attract concerts, sporting events, and other live entertainment opportunities. Collaborate with the in-house partner promoter to coordinate schedules, confirm date availability, and support mutually beneficial programming.
  • Event Booking & Coordination – Oversee booking of non-RBNY events at the stadium (sporting events, concerts, corporate events, private events). Serve as the primary contact for Promoters, Corporate and Private Clients seeking to book the stadium; respond to inquiries and provide information on dates, requirements, and pricing. Negotiate terms with Promoters, Clients, and Vendors to ensure clear agreements on logistics and fees.
  • Client Relations & Event Execution – Liaise between event clients and the stadium’s Food & Beverage department; plan room layouts and event diagrams for private events. Ensure consistent, high-quality service from booking through post-event follow-up.
  • Event Calendar & Operational Oversight – Maintain the master event calendar; coordinate with Operations, Marketing, Security, and Ticketing to scope, plan, and execute large-scale events. Support internal event planning meetings and post-event recaps to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Analytics & Reporting – Track and analyze event revenue, pipeline opportunities, and profitability. Develop regular reports and forecasts to meet or exceed annual goals. Identify opportunities for growth and greater utilization of stadium spaces.
  • Marketing & Promotions Support – Collaborate with Marketing to promote events and attract new clients. Create promotional materials, press releases, and communications to raise the venue’s visibility as an event destination. Maintain the stadium website and marketing materials.
  • Post-Event Analysis & Reporting – Review event feedback and provide executive reports on performance; identify areas for improvement. Assist with invoicing and revenue tracking from events.
Qualifications & Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field desirable.
  • Two to three years of experience in event bookings and sales within sports or live entertainment.
  • Experience working with Corporate Private Clients and large entertainment 3rd party Promoters.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation development skills.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules demand.
