** Job Summary
** We are seeking a compassionate and skilled
** Registered Nurse (RN)
** to join our Hospice House team. In this specialized role, you will provide holistic nursing care to patients and families facing life-limiting illness, ensuring dignity, comfort, and support. Working closely with interdisciplinary team members, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality hospice and palliative care.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
* Coordinate patient/family education, discharge planning, and transfer processes.
* Administer medications, including subcutaneous injections and pain management therapies, with precision and compassion.
* Perform sterile dressing changes and follow infection control protocols.
* Accurately assess and document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospice standards.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (IDT) to update and coordinate individualized care plans.
* Support and supervise CNAs, providing delegation and guidance as needed.
* Respond appropriately to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
* Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for patient and family beliefs, values, and traditions.
* Assist with orientation of new staff and contribute to a positive work environment.
* Ensure adherence to NARMC’s HIPAA, compliance, and ethical conduct standards.

- ** Job Qualifications
***
* Required:

*** Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
* Current
** RN license
** with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or Compact Multistate Licensure.
* ** BLS certification**.
* One year of hospital or nursing home experience.
* Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
* Reliable transportation and valid Arkansas driver’s license.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
** Preferred:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
* 1–2 years of hospice nursing experience.
* HPCN (Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center) Certification.
* 3–5 years of experience in hospital or long-term care nursing.
