Provide expert guidance on financial compliance matters, ensuring the organization's operations align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Support risk management efforts and contribute to the development of compliance frameworks.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- Advise departments on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact.
- Assist in developing and updating compliance policies.
- Conduct compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Deliver training and awareness programs.
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or related discipline.
Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum experience- Five (5) years in financial compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- In-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving and research skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable guidance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in audit tools and financial systems.
In-depth understanding of SOX 404 strongly preferred.
Pay Transparency Pay Additional DetailsThis position will be domiciled at a Fed Ex Freight location in Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR. You will be required to work at a Fed Ex Freight location several times per week.
