Harrison School District is accepting applications for a special education teacher position for the  school year. The position will be a full time (1.0 FTE) teaching position. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:

Job Requirements:

(Include, but not limited to)

• Create and deliver specialized instruction in accordance with CEC High Leverage Practices
• Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to achieve at high levels
• Provide quality special education services in inclusive environments
• Formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and staff
• Use progress monitoring data, building and state-level data, and behavior data to drive student programming
• Develop and maintain compliant due process paperwork
• Schedule and lead IEP meetings in accordance with Arkansas DESE rules and regulations
• Effectively use learning management systems and digital resources for the provision of digital learning
• Effectively manage paraprofessional(s) and PCA activities under your supervision
• Attain or possess Google Level One Certification
