Location: Avera Behavioral Health Center‑Sioux Falls
Worker Type: Regular
Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America)
Pay Range: $24.50 - $33.75
Position Highlights: This position may be eligible for a Sign On Bonus. Nurses with 3+ years of experience – Every 3rd weekend, Every other holiday. Nurses with < 3 yrs – Every other weekend, Every other holiday.

- Student Loan Repayment: This LPN position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.
- Collect data and conduct a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient.
- Participate with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient‑centered health care plan.
- Implement nursing interventions within a patient‑centered health care plan.
- Assist in the evaluation of responses to interventions.
- Provide for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly.
- Advocate for the best interest of the patient.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients and members of the health care team.
- Assist with health counseling and teaching.
- Delegate and assign nursing interventions to implement the plan of care.

Required Education, License/Certification, or
Work Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Board of Nursing active license in the state of practice upon hire.
