Service Tire Truck Centers is looking for an Mobile Equipment Operator with a full range of off the road tires (OTR), using modern OTR equipment. Experience working the Tire Tech field preferred but will train the right person.

A CDL class B is required for this position. Service Tire is a family owned company with 53 locations so room to grow and move is very possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide OTR tire service on large equipment primarily at customer locations (quarries, mines, ports and construction sites).

• Respond in a timely manner to dispatches and customer concerns providing excellent customer service.

• Be able to effectively communicate with the customer and dispatch.

• Use all provided safety equipment and will communicate equipment needs in a timely manner.

• Other duties can and will arise, and the candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education and/or experience: 1 year or more related work experience helpful. STTC will train.

• Language

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of STTC.

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be 21 years of age. Must have acceptable MVR, Drug Test and DOT physical.

• Ability to work in a fast paced and detail oriented environment.

• Willingness to occasionally work after hours or on weekends when needed.

• Must be able to follow all STTC policies.
