OR RN in Harrisburg, PA

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to provide critical perioperative care. Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use
• Assist surgeons during operations by anticipating needs and providing necessary support
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes during surgery
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and operational standards
• Document surgical processes and patient care accurately

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid RN licensure with current certification
• Proven experience in an Operating Room setting
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and OR protocols
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
