For Day shift (7a-7p) 2 physicians are needed who can work 12hr shifts and 1 physician who can work 6hrs (8a-2p) to assist with admissions and discharges. Then for night shift (7p-7a), 1 physician to cover both peds and newborns.

JOB INFORMATION
Typical Day: there are typically 2 providers during the day and 1 each night. During the day one provider is assigned to pediatrics with an ADC of 10-12. The second provider is assigned to newborn with an ADC of 20-25. The night shift provider manages both peds and newborn. ED consults are covered by the pediatric provider.
