Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes, documenting observations and unusual activity to help to deter unwanted activity;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed;
Control access at designated points by verifying identification, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and enforcing visitor management and/or property removal procedures per site policy;
Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, and corrective actions taken, and communicate significant events promptly through established radio and/or phone protocols
