We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to take charge of a dedicated team maintaining parks, landscaped areas, and specialist horticultural spaces. If you’re passionate about horticulture and enjoy working outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

12‑week temporary role, with potential to move to a fixed‑term contract for the right candidate.

Harlow

£16.41 per hour

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
Friday: 7:30 am – 1:15 pm

• Lead and motivate a grounds maintenance team
• Liaise with local authority officers, stakeholders, and the public
• Oversee landscape improvement projects and specialist horticultural areas
• Maintain shrubs, hedges, trees, and ornamental planting
• Operate and maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment safely
• Ensure health and safety compliance at all times

• Strong horticultural knowledge and hands‑on experience
• Leadership and team management skills
• PA1 & PA6 chemical application certification
• IT skills for reporting and record‑keeping
• Full UK driving licence

• Experience in landscape improvement projects
• Knowledge of green space management policies
