Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Forest Vets Harlow, Essex
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week) - 4 or 5 day weeks can both be considered. Weekend rota is 1 in 10 on-call, with daytime hours on-site (8am-7pm Saturday and Sunday).
Salary : From £50,000 per annum depending on experience.

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a busy role in a newly refurbished practice in Harlow? We have a great opportunity to join Forest Vets, as they re-open their brand new site!

• Across our four sites, you’ll be part of a talented group of 14 D ay V ets and 3 N ight V ets, including certificate holders in ophthalmology, dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, and small animal surgery. This provides a fantastic opportunity for case discussion, referral support, and ongoing learning within a collaborative network.
• At Harlow you will work as part of a 2-3 Vet team, with access to excellent facilities including 5 consult rooms, surgery, x-ray, and an in-house lab. For advanced diagnostics and procedures, our nearby hospital offers CT, MRI, and scopes, and you’re welcome to follow up your cases there if desired.
• We can also offer a structured day each week at the hospital to support your development, and welcome discussions around certificate studies.
• Harlow is easily reachable from Hertfordshire, Essex and North London.

We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ post-graduate experience who is comfortable managing a busy caseload and committed to delivering high standards of care.
