Workshop Operative
Location: Harlow
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Our client who are a well-established manufacturer and global distributor of medical devices are currently seeking a reliable, semi-skilled Workshop Operative to join their manufacturing and assembly team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The RoleAs a Workshop Operative, your duties will include:
- Assembly of machined components using CAD drawings
- Inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met
- Picking and packing of finished products (some manual lifting involved)
- Occasional loading and unloading of deliveries (forklift operation)
- Safe and competent use of hand tools
Full on-site training will be provided.
About You- Semi-skilled with a good working knowledge of hand tools
- Able to read and follow CAD drawings
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Reliable, detail-focused and a strong team player
- Forklift experience is desirable but not essential
