Scantec Recruitment is partnering with a fantastic FMCG Food Manufacturing business based in Harlow to recruit Production Operators / Line Technicians for their team. We are looking for Manufacturing / Line Technicians with at least 2 years of experience operating and working on production/packing machinery within a similar food or FMCG manufacturing background, such as food or packaging manufacturing, print or similar. You will need to be willing to learn, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ongoing, extensive training will be provided.

Monday to Friday – 41.25 hours per week.

Rotating early & late shift pattern – 06:00–14:15 / 14:00–22:15.

Overtime is available.

• Operate and monitor production line equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs on machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues promptly.
• Conduct line changeovers and setups according to production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Record and report equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements.
• Support root cause analysis for recurring technical issues.
