We’re looking for an Evening Cleaner in Harlow who will deliver excellent service standards. You will be working as part of a team but will be responsible for your own area within the building. You will have a supervisor and other cleaners onsite with you to show you the ropes and assist with anything you may need.

Contract: Essex County Council

Type: Permanent part-time

Hours: 17:00-19:00 Monday - Friday - 10 hours per week

Pay: £12.21

Location: Essex County Council, Goodman House, Station Approach, Harlow, Essex, England, CM20 2ET

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service

• Ability to communicate and read basic English
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable
• Flexible and proactive approach to work
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour
