Kinetic Recruitment are currently recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join an international Pharmaceutical company based within Harlow, Essex.

Hours:

37.5 hours per week.
Duration:
Initially 3 months, with the possibility of an extension.
Hybrid role, potentially remote for the right candidate.

Annual Salary: £30,400.
25 Days annual leave (pro rata) plus Bank Holidays.

Purpose of the position:
The main purpose of the UK Payroll Specialist role is to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

Under supervision and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations, CLA and internal policies, procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for the following tasks:

* Accurate and timely collection of payroll input data for all entities received from HR and other departments.

* Conducts close review/monitoring of records for payroll changes submitted; works in a highly collaborative environment.

* Answering payroll questions from employees and/or managers concerning payroll requests and queries via the ticketing system.

* Accurate and timely processing of payroll.

* End-to-end payroll operations.

* Creating reports as required by the business.

* Other ad-hoc jobs and actions which are applicable to the payroll function.

Qualifications and skills:

* Ideally 3+ years of relevant and comparable payroll experience for the UK.

* Payroll qualification desirable. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a qualification.

* Experience of working with ADP Global View is a plus.

* Service orientated and flexible attitude.

* Good social and communication skills both verbally and in writing.

* Able to work independently, as needed, exercising judgement and initiative.

* Structured, timely and accurate with focus on details.

* Discretion, integrity, and confidentiality in dealing with salary and other employee data, ensuring GDPR compliance.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
