Job overview
  • To provide an Occupational Therapy Service for Acute Inpatients at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
  • Take responsibility for a specified caseload undertaking assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patients referred to the service
  • To work as part of a Multi-disciplinary/Agency team
  • Work as an autonomous professional according to College of Occupational Therapy ‘Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct’ and the ‘Health Professions Council Regulations’
  • Actively participate in Continuing Professional Development and contribute to the development of in-service training
Main duties of the job
  • To provide an Occupational Therapy Service for Acute Inpatients at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
  • Take responsibility for a specified caseload undertaking assessment, treatment, and evaluation of patients referred to the service
  • To work as part of a Multi-disciplinary/Agency team
  • Work as an autonomous professional according to College of Occupational Therapy ‘Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct’ and the ‘Health Professions Council Regulations’
  • Actively participate in Continuing Professional Development and contribute to the development of in-service training
  • Work under the indirect supervision of the senior occupational therapist and carry out clinical and administrative duties.
