We are recruiting on behalf of a growing company who specialises in Fire Damper / Ventilation services. Due to recently winning new business in the South East of England, they are seeking a Fire Damper Engineer, who is able to inspect, test and complete remedial works to Fire Dampers. The ideal candidate will be flexible to travel when required and will be qualified with the Fire Damper ticket.

You will be travelling across:
Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Epping, Chelmsford, Witham, Braintree, Maldon, South Woodham Ferrers, Hockley, Southend-on-Sea, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Hornchurch, Grays, Tilbury, Dartford, Gravesend, Erith, Enfield, Ilford, Barking, Potters Bar, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Hitchin.

Experience /

Qualifications:

* Strong experience inspecting, testing and completing remedials on Fire Dampers

* Will hold the Fire Damper ticket

* Fully conversant in BS9999 guidelines

* Flexible to travel in line with company requirements

* Good literacy and numeracy skills

* IT literate

The Role:

* Surveying and reporting the location of Fire Dampers

* Drop testing on Fire Dampers

* Fault finding and making recommendations for required works

* Completing remedial duties, including: TEK screws removal / replacement, chaning of links, collars and springs

* Fitting access panels

* Producing pre and post work reports with accompanying photographs

* Providing tailored project updates to clients

* Travelling to a range of commercial, food outlet and industrial client sites
